Terms of Service for Codify: Code Editor & Compiler

Effective October 19, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the mobile app Codify: Code Editor & Compiler (Android package name com.vivekgowdas.LanguageSandBox), developed and published by Dev-V, the developer name shown on its Google Play listing, and its online services ("Codify"). "We", "us" and "our" mean Dev-V. By using Codify, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

Codify lets you write code on your phone, run it on our servers in an isolated sandbox, and get help from an AI assistant. Some features need an account and an internet connection.

Your account

You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Your code

Code you write in Codify belongs to you. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service: running it when you ask, and sending it to AI model providers when you use AI features. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

Don't use Codify to:

We may stop a program, limit features, or suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk.

Limits and fair use

Each plan has usage limits, shown in the app: runs per day, AI messages, how long a program may run, and how many programs can run at once. Free accounts include a one-time trial of 3 AI messages; creating extra accounts to get more trials isn't allowed. Codify Pro's "unlimited" runs are subject to fair use. We may adjust limits to keep the service available for everyone, and we'll show current limits in the app.

Codify Pro subscriptions

AI assistant

AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or insecure. Review and test any code before you rely on it. Don't send secrets or personal data to the AI assistant.

Availability

We work to keep Codify running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Programs can be stopped by their limits, by maintenance, or by connection problems. Keep your own copies of important work.

Disclaimer and liability

Codify is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or work. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Codify in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be excluded.

Ending the service

You can stop using Codify and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. If we ever shut down Codify, we'll give reasonable notice in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Codify after a change means you accept the new terms.
